To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Isaiah 8:20

Empowering the Christian Community for Cultural Dominion

"The Principles which went into the Declaration of Independence are found in the texts, the sermons, and the writings of the early Colonial Clergy who were earnestly undertaking to instruct their congregations in the great mystery of how to live."    President Calvin Coolidge - July 5th, 1926

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."
 Thomas Jefferson

Obama: Don't stock up

President-elect Barack Obama said Sunday that gun-owning Americans do not need to rush out and stock up before he is sworn in next month. But National Rifle Association spokesman Andrew Arulanandam said it's not Obama's words — but his legislative track record — that has gun-buyers flocking to the stores.

Constitutional Perversion

According to Barack Obama, it is a tragedy that the Court never interpreted the U.S. Constitution, a document he said was fundamentally flawed and "reflected the enormous blind spot in this culture that carries on until this day," so as to force the redistribution of wealth to African-Americans.

he declension of our society into a culture of depravity will not be halted until the Church once again recognizes the full extent of man's fall into sin and therefore the full and complete nature of the redemption that Christ has accomplished for the world, and until the Church once again starts living in the light of this by seeking to transform the culture in which she lives by applying the light of God's word to every sphere of human thought and activity. We must preach total salvation to a totally fallen world." - Stephen Perks, "Total Depravity and Social Order" in Christianity & Society, Vol. XIII, No 2

The Theological Implications of the Ideology of Socialism

Socialism is a world-view - a religion - that is diametrically opposed to the Christian religion in its view of God, its code of ethics and its teaching on social and political order. Christians must see the socialist agenda for what it is, revolution against God's will for man's life. The Church is called to speak the prophetic word of God to society and call the people back to obedience to God's law. If she is to do this faithfully she must resolutely stand against socialism in all its forms." - Stephen Perks, "Socialism Again!" in Christianity & Society, Vol. XIV, No 1
