The Reformed Bible Church is a non Incorporated, non "Erastian" Church
structured according to the Biblical Presbyterian Government structure and holds to the Historic Reformed Creeds, Standards and Confessions, principally the 1647 Westminster of Faith
both the Larger and Shorter Catechisms. Please note that we realize that these statements of faith are inferior to the Bible and should be judged by it. However, we do hold that these Westminster Standards are the purest human expression of the doctrine revealed in the Bible.

The Trinity Psalter and the Psalms of David in Metre can be purchased from CrownandCovenant.com
The Psalter Hymnal of the Dutch Reformed Church can be purchased at CRC Publications

The Reformed Bible Church Creed

The Reformed Bible Church Creed is simply an elongated and more precise version of the traditional Apostles Creed .
Like all other Creeds
[1], the RBC Creed simply reflects the overall belief of the Church and in no way seeks to undermine or replace the Inspired Word of God.

God's Word is the final authority on all matters concerning faith and life.

WE [I] Believe in One God, Who reveals Himself as Three distinct Persons, The Father the Son and the Holy Spirit.

WE [I] Believe in God, the Father Almighty Who is above all and through all, Who is the giver of every good a perfect gift, the greatest of which is salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord.

WE [I] Believe in God, the Lord Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, by Whom and for Whom all things were created, indeed Who created the heavens and earth in 6 days and Who upholds all things by the word of His power; Who is the Lamb of God Who paid the penalty of eternal damnation for the sins of all those who become saved; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary; Who was condemned to die by the God appointed Judge Pontius Pilate and was crucified, dead and buried.

The Third day He arose, which proved the penalty had been fully paid for the sins of the elect.

He ascended into heaven and reigns over all at the right hand of God the Father. From thence He shall come on the last day to judge the unsaved, both the living and the dead.

WE [I] believe in God the Holy Spirit, Whom by we are Born again, Who has given us the Bible which alone and in its entirety is the Divine Word of God; Who commissions and empowers the Church to send the gospel into the world.

WE [I] believe there is a holy Church, which consists of individuals throughout the world who have personally experienced the New Birth of Salvation, whose sins have been forgiven, who are a communion of saints, who, from the moment of salvation have received eternal life, whose bodies will be resurrected the last day and who will live and reign with Christ in the New Heaven and the New Earth forever more  AMEN.

The Reformed Bible Church Creed, unlike other Creeds, is recited using the corporate term "WE". Since every creed should be a personal creed, recited by use of the term "I", this creed admittedly stands in contrast to the traditional form. In its original draft the RBC Creed does, in fact, use the term "I" but since the creed is not recited in unison by the entire congregation the Session of the Church decided to have it read using the term "WE" signifying the Oneness of the Body of Christ while maintaining the Individuality of each of the several "many" members of the Body of Christ  - thus preserving the One and the Many of Christ's Church.

It is read aloud by the Pastor along with the silent reading along by the Congregation.
